Christmas Traditions

Event Date

Dec 21, 2020

**Also in attendance: TouchMeNot and one K9 (Jasper)

Solid group, as four brave Pax awaited YHC at the AO at 0528. At 43 degrees, you couldn't ask for better than that! I don't know what it means, but it's what Rolling Stone Pax call "Suck It Bros" weather. Disclaimer was given.

THE THANG:

We made our traditional loop around the greenspace and back to the AO to see if we might pick up anymore Pax. None were found.

At that point we began our mosey to the new phase of Summers Walk stopping every five minutes for 10 Mericans and 10 Squats.

All 5 Pax completed their FORD report

Discussion: Christmas traditions

We completed 60 Mericans and 60 Squats, and about 3 miles.

MOLESKIN:

  1. Great attendance for the Damascus Ruck this morning. Thanks for coming out everyone!
  2. Komen – great to see you again at the OL! Don't be a stranger.
  3. Fairy Godfather – thanks for your leadership establishing the Damascus Ruck. This morning was a great example of Iron Sharpening Iron on a 3rd F level. I've noticed that as we share life we find out many things we can learn from each other, each Pax strong in different areas.
  4. Come out tomorrow for the last Methane beat down of the year.

PRAYERS:

  1. Praise for TouchMeNot's dad's sweaty ears! #hearingaidlife
  2. Prayers for M TouchMeNot's health as she works and for the others who have gotten sick.
  3. Prayers for Tiger King and others waiting on stimulus help.
  4. Praise for Nylah's continued healthy progress.
  5. Prayers for Fairy Godfather and M as they transition from #babylife to #toddlerlife, and for all of us to be good leaders as husbands and fathers.

With Jesus came the fulfillment of all God's promises! He came to cast out all fear. Some run away from Jesus because they think He brings heavy rules and restrictions, but He actually came to free us from those rules and restrictions. When we humbly expose the fact that we can't even live up to our own standards, much less God's, Jesus is always ready to take that burden from us. Merry Christmas everyone!

LUKE 2:

And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. 10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.

…hope you got your money's worth!
