5 of LKN’s finer variety decided it was indeed Tuesday and #Gladiator was the place to be.
After a rousing pep talk by the Q, the men were truly FIRED-UP for a beatdown. We did some moseying, warm-o-ramas and a bit more moseying.
After each man grabbed 2 blocks we circled for some Curls, Lawn mowers, Bent over rows and took a lap
Next was block squats, block lunges, calf raises, took a lap
Next: shoulder-touch ‘Mericans, dips and elevated ‘Mericans, took a lap
Next: Old-school sit-ups, little baby extensions, alternating LBCs, took a lap
Next: Farmer carry to 4 corners. Corner 1: 15 Curls, Corner 2: 15 block ‘Mericans, Corner 3: block squats, Corner 4: 15 Dips.
We replaced the blocks and huddled up for a quick MARY
- Prayers lift for Julia (Airstream’s Friend’s daughter)
- Tammy Faye will be leading a (weekly?) men’s gathering for anyone who wants support, can lend support, or just wants some more bonding. It’s a great thing and TF is the man to lead it!
- As always, we need more men to LEAD workouts. That’s the point of this thing! Did you know? Anyone who hasn’t Q’d in a while (or ever), please step forward and get in the mix. You’ll be glad you did and there’s never a “right time.” Now is the time- it always is.
- Ah yes- the click bait for those who posted. Confucius says: If you picked up the block closest to you, it means you’re focused on efficiency and getting stuff done- you’re gonna have a good day. If you assessed each block and grabbed the one that looked/felt lighter, you prefer to preserve energy, but still give the appearance of being a hard-charger. You know that perception is reality and you will also have a good day.
