Clown Week – 3rd install. 29 were intrigued with what was next on the Clown week agenda. Rocker not registered yet.
The opportunity came up to the Q Mighty Oak and the Clowns rallied to fill out the week. Dry Rub on Monday with the Boomerang and Beanbag Toss Beatdown, and Tiramisu with the “Magic Man” now you see me and now you don’t workout with fancy Italian cake served @ Madalyn’s. Then it was my turn. Midweek beat down but a need to go with Silliness to mix it up. Eeyore will bring the upper body hurt Thursday @ Fission and LoneStar will finish the week off @ Foundry. It started with a simple inquiry from Mr. Burns and it turned out that we could fill Q’s for the week.
So the Clowns knew that I had ridden a unicycle since I was nine, they put me up to the task to break out the unicycles to provide mid-week silliness. Here I am 47 years old with 38 years of unicycling experience, I figure why not? Well, that is when it all breaks down………
The rest is history and probably never to be repeated….thankfully so.. Creative but it always comes down to execution.

Moleskin:
- Hats off to the Standard crew (6) SweetC, Amen, Turncoat, BounceEhouse, MajorTom, and DryRub
- Keeping with the Clown theme, the YHC did his best to provide a light, silly workout with moderate pain.
- As I pulled the workout together, I was thinking about the F3 “Sad Clown” and how we just need an outlet. So at risk, I figure we would address the “Sad Clown”, and lighten things up a bit with a preventative workout plan.
- My planned Circus Circus Relay did not go as intended. I gave an abbreviated instruction on how to unicycle. That we would rely on our brothers to assist…. Well, I got just a few takers. Dry Rub and Tiramisu gave it a go. Fortunately, they saved each other’s lives. I can appreciate that cause if there was a fatality or injury the “Village M’s” would have given me grief.
- Recognizing the Circus Circus Relay was not going as planned the QHC moved quickly to the next planned event – Choose Your Own “Clown Disaster”. This gave the PAX the opportunity to call cadence and in small groups – deliberate intention to build more Q’s.
- The Circus music was painful. Even QYC could barely stand for it. When we switched events, I went to Schneider’s hairband standard. This caused some ague (malaria or some other illness involving fever and shivering) with Ramrod. He was completely bothered with Hair band music.
- Amen was at the ready for Mary. I called upon him for his favor J-Lo exercise, and he responded with enthusiasm.
- We ended with a discipleship theme- F3 has been a “life changer” for many of us. It is time that we share and give back to our community. Bring our neighbors, friends, and co-workers to Christ. Be the light that we can be with “Holy Spirit” guiding us and bringing more F3’ers to our community. I challenged to the PAX to give it away. Invite to F3 and start there.
- I would be remised if I did not call out the clown car. Their support through all of life’s challenges just pushes us to be stronger. Keeping each other accountable and serving our community all in the F3 spirit.
- Thank you Mr. Burns for the opportunity to lead today. I am sure you were not sure what you were going to get. Today, we did not take ourselves seriously but enjoyed a “Silly” but moderate workout. Mighty Oak is a great AO with lots of opportunities. I look to frequent on a regular basis.
