FNG-1 Bowzer

Airstream was on the move this morning after finding his car covered in snow and the front windshield needing a good scraping.  Pulled into St.M right at 5:30 with 4 PAX ready to start moving. One PAX wanted to move a little quicker and faster than the others. Bowzer joined us this morning wearing a t-shirt, shorts, no gloves and no hat. I know I’m from Miami but this seemed a little extreme. After about 5 minutes the Father in me couldn’t take it so I rummaged through the car and saved Bowzer from frost-bite when I found a hoodie and gloves. 
Warm-Up and this morning it was a true warm up. With temps at 27 the bodies needed a little extra. Mosey to gym wall, only dry area on campus.            
Peoples Chair calf raise routine. With Possum chirping we got down and did a quick set of Mericans to make him happy. If a workout has gone more then 10 minutes without a merican Possum gets cranky. 
Moseyed to blocks and bricks; suitcase carries, side bend, curl to press, RDL’s, IYT’s, FW-Lat raise, skull crushers, squat, FW lunge, BW lunge, block mericans, and a few laps to stay warm. Finished with  standing mobility moment. 
Everyone got through the morning without frost bite, falling or getting hurt, Airstream calls that a success.

Prayers for western NC as the temps drop, Callahans total knee surgery today  and Wreck it Ralph crushing his SAT this weekend. Always impressive to see young men out posting. 
Joined up with Viking for coffee, not sure everyone knows this but Possum owns a Miata, tries to be a tough guy with the 4 Runner but is actually a Miata guy.
