the calendar said “Convergence” but no preblast for where or when. YHC decided to show up at 0545 anyway because my coffee was free today due to finding a SBUX card lodged in a kitchen drawer that had never been used.
i arrived to no 4 Banger usuals but Full Moon got there (he had already finished a mile around the parking area) and offered up the Island route: no stops and any pace I wanted. An offer that I couldn’t refuse.
we held my conversation friendly pace by talking the whole time about things that matter. FM has a mileage goal to achieve and I recently hit my number, so just two guys enjoying being out there doing what we like.
upon return, the pax and chatter were plentiful. Good start to this final weekday of 2023.
