THE THANG
Recently brother Blackbeard from across the pond celebrated his RESPECT Q with a "fun looking" choose your own path beatdown so YHC thought he'd share with the Denver PAX. As Blackbeard has very fond memories of the Denver area, it was only appropriate to honor him this way since we didn't make it over.
Choose a number #1-#18. An exercise will be named with a rep count of 45. The PAX can choose to either do the exercise or run a ~.25 mile lap. They were also given the clues "45" the letters "J" and "V" and if they could put it together the rep count would drop to 40. No such luck.
#15. Jerry Rice—hill sprints. Immediately the PAX revolted saying they thought they were going to have the choice to run or not.
#9. Daniel Sons—the grace of the PAX was brought to light.
#3. Wojo Squats—lots of Dukie fans apparently as no one ran.
#5. Apolo Anton Oh Nos—finally Clark gets to use a coupon
#7. Cheerleaders—most stayed around and were only disappointed to do more legs with a SSH and squat at the end
#1. Cracker Jacks—after 5 straight leg burners almost everyone ran a lap here.
#2. Speed Humpers—Mater finally smiled
#8. Crab Cakes—Finkle asked if YHC only Q'd once a month so he could come up with awesome workouts. First off that's very flattering, but today's beatdown was copied so no.
#4. American Hammers w/ coupon—it was here that some of the PAX that had their block replaced with a rock were okay with it
#11. Dwight Howards—some of the PAX have some serious hops (or they're just taller than 5' 8 1/2")
#13. LBC's w/coupon
return your rock/block and meet back at the launchpad

REFLECTION
Today was National V-J day. 9/2/1945 is the recognition of the end of WWII
MUMBLECHATTER
-FNG-1 is Stuart. His initial post was Bellz last Friday and his first question to YHC was "are they all like that.?" Unfortunately no, Bellz is simply on another level 🙂 Stuart is another EH from the (soon to be mobile congregation at ELHS Mustang) Church at Denver. Has two kids, plays some instruments, but most importantly slaps the bass, thus we deem the Flea (which now we realize is already taken). Probably good anyway as he liked it. See you ITG for another naming! After posting this BB, YHC noticed the original Flea has not posted this year so we can reach out to see if it can become available.
-FNG-2 is Billy. Another the Church at Denver recruit. The PAX got a little intel on him for his 2nd post naming. He moved back to the area recently and feels back at home. His line of work involves "doing what ThunderClub asks him to do" which prompted multiple requests from the PAX on unfinished home improvement projects.
-If you chose to run them all you would have wound up around 3 miles.
-Lots of good MC today, great turn out and fun altogether. Felt really good to be back in the Q spot again.
-Hope to see a few of you in t-minus 7 hours for week 1 IPC at the Gates 1 poolhouse lot at 0530. If not enjoy Dandy's SVU beatdown.
Pleasure to lead and be led my you men,
Hefty
