Crosswalks and Celebrities

16 total men showed up for Gladiator this morning.  Some ran a standard.  There seemed to be many differing paces that launched at various times.  However, everyone started the boot camp at 0530.  And away we went…

Mosey (Karaoke, Quadraphelia, ReguLAR) to the top of the hill, the main entrance to the AO, for a warmorama (SSH, IST, Slow-mill) and precursor to this morning’s event (Mericans at every crosswalk and exercises named after famous people throughout).

Without getting into too much detail, we completed 200 Mericans and did exercises named after Apollo Ono, Tony Hawk, Suzanne Somers, J-Lo, Rocky Balboa Al Gore and some guy named “American Hammer”  We did honor Saint Mary although I’m not sure there is an exercise named for her.  I forgot to include Freddie Mercury and Dwight Schrute.  Was there anyone else I forgot?

We also stopped at a building with a stout brick wall and brick columns that may or may not have been part of the church for People’s Chair, Air Presses and Heel Touches.

Oh yeah, we also stopped at a concrete knee wall for a little climbing, squats and Rocky Balboas.

The last stop that didn’t really fit into the theme at all, and included partnering up (Well, maybe I was letting the pax know that YOU can be a celebrity to anyone in your life?). Partner 1 did dips at St. Mary’s feet while Partner 2 did Al Gore, flip flop, repeat, rinse, etc.

Return to the launch pad for MARY
