REFLECTION
Proverbs 27:23-24
"Be sure to know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds; for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations."
Know your strengths and of those around you and use them to the fullest. Leaders and volunteers will come and go but paying it forward will keep the movement plentiful and healthy.
YHC was truly moved by the effort of all in making Scouting for Food actually happen this year. The District was all but calling it. A few contacts, reaching out to those resources of our "flocks" and they made it happen. All in all, ~8,500 lbs of food was collected in Denver alone over the past two weekends. Doing some research and 1.2 lbs of food = a meal. That's 7,083 meals or close to 20 meals a day for a whole year. Tclaps to Vortex for the bag hook up, Zippy for the leadership organizing District, among many others as leaders in the Pack/Troop, and to the families in the area who donated.

MUMBLECHATTER
-YHC is very appreciative (afterwards) of the gentle nudge to Q by brother Dandy
-Shirley apparently gets bored with all the burpees and takes a smoke break
-Crabby makes a motion to rename Mater along the lines of his new profession. Submit nominations here.
-Keeping with the theme, Strudel is selling tickets to the upcoming epic battle of the Dogs. There's just too many hot dog carts in this town and Mater wants to settle it once and for all. Wiener takes all!
Honored to lead and be led by you men.
