Many of the PAX (13 to be exact) participated in Mulch Madness last month at the Community Garden in Smithville. A community leader in Cornelius has requested help from the men of F3 again on Saturday May 6 at 8am for the annual curbside cleanup effort around Smithville. The men of F3 have traditionally helped out with this very worthy cause and once again, we’re looking for hard commits this year.
Curbside cleanup involves small teams circling the Smithville area in pickup trucks and collecting and hauling away junk which has accumulated in front of the residents’ homes. Men with strong backs and pickup trucks are especially needed for this very worthy cause of helping residents take pride in their neighborhood by removing unsightly junk and debris from their yards.
Meet at 8am Smithville Park to help out. Also we need a Q to lead a 7am at Smithville Park(same location) to allow PAX to get all 3F’s that morning.
