Wow, a backblast for the Friday Fun Run? Let's try one. May not be every week but what a week to do one with 7 PAX and Mustang in da' house.
Warm-Up:
– Stand-around and do odd old man stretches and comment on Vortex and Skipper's Tron vests
Da' Tang:
– OYO Pace There and Back run to Governor's Island; Paces between 7:00 to around 10:30 or so, with circle-backs to stay together and push each other to become better men.
– Turned out to be just over 4 miles
Moleskine:
– T-Claps to Cheetah for the blessing
– Clubber is my new security detail, and as such he provided ample cover fire as we traversed outside the cozy confines of the Sailview WALL
– Vortex held his merlot in check
– Cheetah pushed YHC for the last mile
– Theuss and Dandelion killed it as usual
– Mulligan reconfirmed his allegiance to SVU
– I put myself down as Q for the BB because I had to, but really this is a Q-less and clue-less workout; not sure what will become of it, but it may be time to make it Official vs. OTB Off the Books. Been OTB for about 2 years now. Let's keep coming to find out. Running is at the core of all we do at F3, so it will really help with the workouts as well, and vice versa.
