10 Men emerged to Denver's finest AO to find out where true happiness resides.
Warm-Up: Usual awkward post-40 yoga movements and whining about how tough bootcamps have been this week.
0530: How long should we wait for Dandelion? We'll just head in his direction. I was going to do the Nittany Loop, but with 10 people I changed the plan, well, since that's what leaders do. (I'm told)
Out the back of SVU we go, Zick and YHC leading the way. We head down to McConnell and re-group at the end. Zick takes off in front to get in some zippy miles and the group circulates back up the long climb that is McConnell. We make it back up to Burton, to the SV Fountain and then some leave back to the AO while some finish out down to the clubhouse and back to the AO. 5ish miles total.
– FNG 1 is Meek who still needs to register
– FNG 2 is Cropduster, who if Blackbeard is reading this needs to APPROVE his registration as he is clearly F3 material
– I miss the dog days of summer when Theuss used to bring Tosh.0 (His dog) on the fun run. Tosh now has a sibling so it makes it a bit harder. Oh yeah, Theuss also PR'd the McConnell segment this morning. HOLLA!
– Vortex was rocking his M's Sketchers this morning. Bright pink S's and all. (I knew it)
– Cheetah takes-off 3/4 through the McConnell segment and claims, "I think I can still take it from here". Grrrr.
– Blart is still pissed from Wed.'s running debacle. He again goes over his 6 mile wall for the day, and then exclaims that he is ready for a mountain goat on the BRR and more mileage. Nice!
– Bertha, twin brother of Jeeves, brings Bessie out to play (His mini-van), and quietly smokes the course and HC'd for the Basin Relay
– Mulligan chose wisely this morning and got a true workout worthy of a back blast (He admitted it after)
We prayed for peace between Mustang and SVU and that all will be safe over the July 4th holiday.
