10 posted to ELHS Mustang this AM, including one FNG for another Murph. Well actually the FNG had posted before to Huntersville at the Mighty Jungle more than 2 years ago, but he lives right here in Denver, directly behind YHC actually. His name is Sean Towson. More on this later…
We started off with a bang and took off running the first mile over to CSES, everyone chasing the rabbit, aka Abrams. Factoid: The Abrams M1 tank can achieve a max speed of 45 mph. We pumped out the Murph in various fashions. Some went 20 rounds of 5-10-15, some went 10 rounds of 10-20-30 and some did a mixture of both. In total 100 pull-ups, 200 'Mericans, 300 squats were had (note the Q [the PAX member who brought the reflection] saw no Snoop squats today). Then we ran back. In the end the PAX was spent after completing, but some were asking for a repeato.
Reflection
Most of us here have been affected by change recently. It may be the birth of a baby or a marriage or some other positive change or it may be viewed as a negative change; the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job, or our duties reassigned. Change is all around us and it's inevitable that things change. Even Saturday afternoon it was 80°F and Sunday morning it was 30°F. Know that as you go through these changes God has a plan for your life. Maybe a change for you hasn't come yet, but it will someday.
Isiah 55:8-9 says "My thoughts are not your thoughts, and my ways are not your ways," declares the Lord. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts are higher than yours."

- Sean likes to smoke. But not the tabacco or cigaweed variety. He smokes meat. And some fine meat it is. 8-9 years ago while building my house Sean brings me 3 ribs right off his smoker. I was rather hungry and was heating up some NY Style Pizza wrapped in foil on the fire when he gave me a little slice of heaven. Fall of the bone ribs. Best I have ever had. That's not all he smokes. He also makes a very nice Boston Butt. I'd like to give him a name like dry rub, but that's already taken. He says the secret is in the rub. During Name-o-rama Abrams has a really good suggestion, but it's not 2.0 friendly, so Sean gets 2 nicknames. The first, MasterBaster and the 2.0 friendly one, the official one, PitMaster. Welcome PitMaster.
- Sean is a recent "graduate" of Lowe's, and is back in the job market. So if you are hiring, find him on LinkedIn.
- Not sure why but the MC was fairly silent this AM. Except for Bertha's loud mouth, coupled with YHC's random comments and Clubber and PitMaster chatting about Lowe's (See I used the ') not much else was said.
- Glad to lend a couple of PAX to SVU today to help out their weak numbers.
- It's been an honor to lead you men today…and you get me Wednesday for more fun.
