Did he just call us Dumbasses?

The preblast promised a fieldtrip and the PAX got one.

Lonestar showed up early – 0528.  AMAZING

0530 – assemble for the pledge

Warmorama – a little joggy jog followed by some of your favorites to get us in the mood.

The THANG

Mosey back to the shovel flag – line up for an Indian Run with the flag at the front.  Leader passes the flag to #2 and falls to the back.  Head out of the park and make a left on Westmoreland.

Continue to Catwaba – and plant the flag.

Monkey Humpers with the business end facing Catawba.

Continue towards Robbins Park.  Stop at the small hill.

Merican series on the hill – head at 12:00, head at 3:00, head at 6:00, head at 9:00

Continue flag run to the Robbins Park field – with a stop for alternating lunges to wait for the six

On the field – pair up for DORA – 100 squats, 150 lunges, audible to move the third leg to dry ground 300 LBCs

It was about know where we first saw the guy on the e-bike zipping around us – not pedaling very much.  Foreshadowing.

Quick mobility to get in some pigeons and Jazz Hands audible releases

Mosey in the flag line back to the AO – via the wooden bridge.  For some reason there are several stuffed monkeys in trees and on posts in Robbins Park – sooooo, we stopped to do more Monkey Humpers.

Return to the launch pad for Mary

MARY – Dying Cockroach into Homer/Marge – Freddie Mercury and because we had 20 seconds left – 3 Burpees OYO.

Recover/Recover

During MARY – our e-bike superstar makes anther appearance.  This time as he passed us he yelled out “Dumbasses”.  What?  Did I hear that correctly?  Confirmed by several PAX – that’s what he said.

The Dumbass Moleskine:

  • Good crowd.  Sorry about the soggy conditions on the field.
  • Lonestar was early – remember the date.
  • Moonlight was part of a Hamptons Clown Car and gave us his medical progress.  Things are going well – and it’s great to have him among the PAX.
  • Prayers for YHC’s MIL as she is in the hospital.
  • The e-bike guy is apparently a fixture in and around Birkdale – and he breezed by us at coffeteria.
  • To be clear – the biker wasn’t wrong about us – it was just weird to hear an outsider verbalize it.
  • Always an honor and a pleasure.   Peace, HOLIDAY
