Yes, i know- it's only been 9 or 10 days since the BRR. Some quotes from the PAX this morning:
"We just finished the BRR and you want to run the BEAST? Are you crazy?"
"I can't believe you had the nerve to call for the Beast this morning- you're lucky anybody showed!"
"I was shocked that you wanted to run the beast. I was like NO WAY, but then I couldn't resist."
That about sums up the lure of the Beast. Couldn't have described it bettter myself, gents…
6 of my running compadres actually were insane enough to come out for the morning beast today. 6.66 miles of pure joy and comraderie with the PAX (Tin Man also joined), even though several of the runners are gearing up (see what i did there?) for the Bike MS ride this weekend. So much for the tapering, eh boys?
