STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION

Omaha signed me up to Q several weeks ago claiming that after 4 posts, I was ready to lead the broga gang. Clearly he wasn’t paying attention to my form — or maybe he was and was looking forward to a slack workout. Additionally, I have been on IR for the past 10 days following orders from the doc who diagnosed me with pirformis syndrome and suggested I allow time for it to heal with RICE. But since stretching was part of the prescription, I figured what would it hurt? 

Knowing I lacked the proper prerequisites to Q a solid stretch, I turned to my good friend Hugh Toob who recommended I bring Rhys with me to assist. And so it was that we had a digital FNG lead us in today’s workout.

HOME STRETCH

  • The primary complaint with Rhys was that “he” wasn’t a “she”, but YHC knows the 5 core principles of F3 and followed #4 literally
  • Toxic claimed there was no room for mumblechatter and yet the final #TWSS count matched a normal workout
  • Omaha was so excited to support me Rhys that he woke early and was at the AO before 0500
  • Jimmy O was the war baby (49) and got to read today’s scripture passage (John 3:16-18)
  • Jimmy O is considering making the 5-mile Monday ruck a regular thing
  • Kudos to the MQ (I think) for covering my coffee. If I drank oatmeal milk, it wasn’t horrible
