Do We Get Iron Horseshoe Credit for This?

So it started with Goat rolling up and saying "Can we have a gentleman's workout?"  So the 11 PAX worked out with tiny rocks.  Here's what we did:

Warm-o-Rama:

15 I.C of SSH, Dwight Shrute, Squat, IST

Grab 2 rocks from the railroad track, one for each hand and mosey to town hall.

The Thang:

We did a horseshoe, carrying our rocks the whole workout. Start with the first exercise, run the "U" shaped loop to the other side of town hall, add the second exercise.  Repeat until you reach the fifth exercise, then drop the first on the 6th lap, progressively dropping one each lap until down to 1 exercise.  The five exercises, all done w/ 20 reps in cadence:

Curls, Lateral Raise, Skull Crushers, Chest fly, American Hammer

Mosey back to lot where we grabbed our rocks, 20 more curls in cadence, return rocks, return to base.

Moses led 2 minutes of stretching, taking us to Recover, Recover.

Moleskine:

– Lots of PAX really love to complain about the Horseshoe;  Whining about getting credit for it, cold rocks, fast count, much running, coccyx pain, etc.  This was a kinder, gentler Horseshoe, I thought.

– Totals were 1160 reps (I think) and 1.75 miles; Fast cadence with light rocks leads to higher rep counts

– Goat was in full form:  best comment — "Waffle, you've taken one of the warmest mornings of the year so far and managed to make my hands freezing cold."  Sorry about that — but holding rocks the whole time will pay itself back later.

– Good to see a large number of regulars, and also to see Thug break away from Java.  Also, the Travolta sighting was nice, as it's been a while since I had seen him

– Eeyore is all in for workouts on this side of town;  already HC'd to Bailey Road for tomorrow and Saturday

– Very much appreciated Moses's mobility 2 minutes to wrap up the workout

– Had 8 for coffeeteria at Dunkin – good conversation about random stuff

– Thanks Goat for taking us out, and prayers up for Canuck's mom and for Tik Tok and his M
