It's Monday, Clark has the Q and it's not a Murph. No gloves needed as our hand stayed off the ground and our shoes stayed dry. Mostly because we stayed quick on out feet. FNG-1 is Travolta_DEN

Warmorama started off with a slow mosey lap (~0.25 mile), followed by High knees and butt kickers. Open the gate, close the gate, and some Heelies for some muscle activation.

The thing continued with a warm up of the legs for what was about to come with a parking lot lap (~0.75 mile).

20 ish second sprints (~100yards) followed by a rest/recovery/yogging pace for about 2-3 minutes (0.25 mile)

Reflection

Revelation 2:10

"Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life"

Is your cross too heavy to bear?

The young man was at the end of his rope. Seeing no way out, he dropped to his knees in prayer. “Lord, I can’t go on,” he said. “I have too heavy a cross to bear.” The Lord replied, “My son, if you can’t bear its weight, just place your cross inside this room. Then, open that other door and pick out any cross you wish.” The man was filled with relief and said,  “Thank you Lord” and he did as he was told.

Upon entering the other room, he saw many crosses; some so Large the tops were not visible. Then, he spotted a tiny cross leaning against a far wall. “I’d like that one, Lord,” he whispered. The Lord replied, “My son that is the cross you just brought in.” When life’s problems seem overwhelming, it helps to look around and see what other people are coping with. You may consider yourself far more fortunate than you imagined.

Easy pop quiz…

But what about when your burden is just too heavy… What is your next move? Did you carry the cross this far all on your own or did you have some help? Where did your help come from? If you did carry it this far all on your own, just think har far you could go if you had realized who was there this whole time ready to help you carry it.

Moleskin

  • Shake weight rolls in after another nightshift then leaves before Mary to see his kids.
  • Crabby Patty is the new Clark, at least for showing up late, but he also has the shortest commute.
  • Travolta is also super efficient, rolls in late, parks his truck taking up 4 parking spaces. He is also on fire today with the mumble chatter.
  • Mater discusses his very active Sunday which included being left behind (at the end of a ride) yesterday after his chain fell off. His ride mates assumed he needed to drop anchor. This is probably a fair assumption on most days.
  • Scope talks of a lot more Q's in his future and he's joining the Garmin Fenix family.
  • Thriftshop can't decide if he enjoys the workout or wants to complain. Maybe it's some sort of love hate relationship.
  • Bertha makes comments about YHC arriving early for once and it not being a Murph.
