Gentlemen thank you for coming out to Samson, the hardest workout in Huntersville, to get into beach body shape. I hope the exercises and fellowship pushed you to where you wanted to be. I am confident that you got a fullbody workout and sweat enough to be able to check the "workout accomplished" box. I don't know about you but I felt the pain for a couple days.
It was terrific to see 66 getting out and getting after it; it's been awhile brother. And Swede, its awesome to hear your mumble chatter and see your grin, both are infectious. Bootlegger as always you whipped the workout in the tail, great job. And Canary, your matching hat and sweat pant ensemble was on fleek. Lastly, Hasselhof, keep on bringing it my man, you crushed the workout – us old guys need to stick together.
I hope the words I shared during COT about my Uncle Steve and losing him to suicide when I was 31, both shocked and stirred you inside.
Losing my uncle is a huge trategy in my life and an emotional scar that I continue to carry today. But I have learned that there is something that each of us can do to keep these types of loses at bay. As a PAX, we can help one another, our families, as well as others in our community by taking time to look each other in the eyes and sincerely listen and care for one another. It's okay for men to be open and vulnerable.
F3 "Mental Battle Day" is on 3/27. Please take a moment to take notice of your own mental health as well as engage with other men to help each other through the ebb and flow of daily life. I am so appreciative of F3 and what it has done for me with my overall well being and fitness – I'm sure you feel the same. So why not share the gift of F3 gift other men?
Here's an article about exercise and health that may sound obvious to us but to others who do not exercise regularly, F3 may be the mental boost they need.
