Don’t Be Lame. That was the request from Airstream leading up to this workout. One might say that’s completely subjective, open to interpretation, even. Nevertheless, this is what we did, lame or not.
A little jaggy jog around the parking lot to see if any straggler showed up. They did not.
We moseyed to the next lot over for a standard warm-up with most of the regulars. Seems like we need to add in some variety, as we’re all getting predictable. Eye roll.

Moseyed toward the theatre and found another guardrail for the dip and decline ‘Merican
Moseyed to the nearby pickup truck with CMU located in the bed and each man grabbed one.
We walked these to the base of the adjacent parking ramp and grabbed a battle buddy for a DORA-ish routine.
Round 1: farmer carry 2 blocks up the ramp, around to the stairs and back down to your partner. Partner starts on 300 LBCs. Swap at the turn and continue.
Round 2: 200 curls while the partner runs backward up the ramp, forward around to and down the stairs.
Round 3: 200 block squats while partner runs backward up the ramp, forward around and down the stairs.
Round 4: 100 block swings while the partner repeats the backward/forward.
We then walked the block back to the truck, and before loading, performed 20 slow block ‘Mericans.
The blocks were loaded back into their transport vehicle and we hoofed it back to launch for MARY by everyone.
Naked Moleskin:
1. Hippie requested all Pax vote early and vote often. He was seen careening down 73 with yard signs flying out of the bed and cab of his truck. Shameless self promotion is how the game is played.
2. Hat Trick offered to drive the truck back to launch, but we agreed he’s not qualified, as all he drives are German vehicles.
3. Greyhound was giving out invitations to his Q at Paninsula on Tuesday. Accepted by all.
4. Deep Dish recommended a good pizza place in Chicago, but he advised wearing body armor. Pass.
5. Airstream collapsed in utter exhaustion after the last MARY exercise. (That core work really takes a toll on those tall guys- I guess)

Hands are still sore from the farmer carry (NOT complaining, actually applauding). Definitely going to keep that one in mind for future Qs. Great grip strengthing exercise 💪
