3 men and a dog (Bailey) showed up at St. Mark on Staurday, 5/6 to suffer in the name of fitness.

All exercises in cadence unless otherwise noted

WARM-O-RAMA

SSH x 20

Windmill x 10

Imperial storm trooper x 10

Toy soldier x 10

Plank jack x 10

 

THE THANG

Mosey to small lot next to the “Perpetual Adoration” building

Begin in 1st parking spot and do 1 burpee OYO

Run lap and stop at 2nd parking spot and do 2 burpees OYO

REPEATO up to spot 5

 

Mosey to fountain and choose a bench

Incline merkin x 10

Dips x 15

Step ups x 10 each leg OYO

Rocky Balboa x 20

REPEATO

 

Mosey back to main lot and divide into 2 groups

Group 1 performs an exercise while Group 2 runs a lap around lower lot

REPEATO until a cumulative total of reps were reached as follows:

50 burpees

150 merkins

250 squats

 

Mosey down to retaining wall

Begin at the curb across from the wall

Run to wall, jump on top and do 2 merkins

Run back to curb and do 10 jump squats

REPEATO increasing merkin reps by 2 up to 10 and decreasing jump squat reps by 2 down to 2

 

Mosey back to main lot for Mary

Low flutter x 10

Low dolly x 10

Heels to heaven x 10

J-lo x 10

Pickle pounder x 10

  1. Thanks for coming out this morning.Numbers were small because True Grit is too hard for most people.

  2. Temps were perfect for the workout.About 50F at launch.

  3. Rocky Balboa KO’d Soprano.Rematch scheduled for next Saturday.

  4. Lots of mumble-chatter this morning.Oh, wait…nevermind.That was just Omega constantly yelling “Bailey, come here!”

  5. Great work by Omega and Soprano.Stud factor was high.Pushed the pace the entire time.
