YHC has known for a while that I needed to sign up for a Q, considering I have only done one Q in over 2 years (I know, I know…). The Bertha conversation a few weeks ago encouraging all of us to sign up for a Q tugged at my heartstrings, but I still didn't sign up. However, over the last few Wednesday's, no one is signed up for the Q but someone has come through at the 11th hour to handle the honor. I knew that eventually I would show up and need to Q, so I have been planning this for the last few weeks for such a time as this. Alas, today was the day. Pulled up and I saw Sparrow, Dr. Jones, and a new FNG. I heard Sparrow ask "Did anyone sign up for the Q" and I heard the superhero music start playing in my head. I knew now was the time. This is how it went:
FNG-1 was Dr. Jones, who still doesn't seem to have a login because I couldn't find him. We have to introduce him to Dell.
FNG-2 is Jason. Mater invited Jason Monday morning while doing interval training on the track. He's a really good guy and he said he will be back on Friday for Belz. He's from Pittsburgh originally, then moved to NC and played highschool football in Charlotte. Played football in college and was getting ready for the combine when he tore his ACL. Went back and got his Master's degree and now is a professor and business/leadership coach.
Warmup:
- 26 SSH (forgot to stop at 25!)
- 10 Windmills IC
- Left over right
- Right over left
- 10 Grandma Maters IC
- 10 Toy Soldiers IC
- 10 Imperial Storm Troopers IC

The Thing:
Partner up and complete the total number of reps for each exercise. While one partner is doing the exercise, the other is running to the top of the parking lot and back. When the partner gets back from running, he starts on the reps and the other partner runs.
- 200 Merkins
- 300 Squats
- 300 Dips
- 300 Glute Bridges (Wife Pleasers)
- 50 Wall Hand Stands
Mary:
25 LBC IC
MC:
- Brought an SVU favorite to Mustang, the Glute Bridge. I renamed it the Wife Pleaser, and it seemed to be a crowd favorite. When I came back from running, Sparrow had a look of enjoyment on his face but complained because there was no headboard to hold onto.
- ?Jason knocked out the Merkins faster than anyone! He must have had to do one or two during his playing time.
- ?Dr Jones has got to be one of the most positive people I know. Even during a tough workout, covered in sweat, and out of breath, he talks about how great it is to be out there.
Humbled to be able to lead these guys and missed those that couldn't attend
