The benefit of having one other faithful show up to a workout is that you can try some new things. So, for this installment of Viking, Bagboy and I entered the lab and rolled out a couple new exercises. Here's what we did:
Warm-Up: mountain climbers, IST, pickers, windmill
Mosey to concession stand for a wall sit and quick conversation.
Mosey to picnic tables for 15 step-ups/pulses, 15 incline Mericans / pulses, 15 dips/pulses. Mosey around concession stand.
Repeato (2x) with 10 reps each time.
Mosey to rock pile.
Rock exercises x15,12,10 with mosey between: combo deadlift/ curl, combo chest press / eye buster, squat to press.
Second group: Rock pullover and crunch up, LBC with rock, chest press with a low dolly.
Rocks back. Mosey to base with a stop for 10x speed bump Mericans in cadence.
Recover, recover.
Moleskine:
– Thankful for Bagboy. He kept me honest today, otherwise I would have probably gone home
– We did a little inventing this morning — wiht the chest press / low dolly, we experimented with starting with rock on chest vs. in the air, and in the air was better. Coming soon to a workout near you
– Bagboy didn't have time for coffeeteria this morning, but there was a good group from other AO's at the AT&T Starbucks. Goat always makes for a lively coffeeteria!
– Finally, missed my other regulars this morning. Outlaw poached Canuck, Moses was out of town, and Jersey Boy was m.i.a. We probably need a few more regulars…
Anyway, it was a good morning, and I hope it helped Bagboy get his day off on the right foot.
