9/14 – Based on the HC I paid to reserved 2 lanes for 2 hours (8 to 10). Total cost was $240 so if we get 12 Bowling STUDS then it is only $20/stud (inc shoes). I did not want to wing it and not get a lane. We would love to have as many as possible but making sure we are covered!

I think we do our fair share of meeting up in the wee hours of the morning. I thought it would be fun for us to meet up at night, For Bowling! After bouncing the idea of Turncoat it was decided to included this event in the el Mas Macho games. This will take place on November 15th 8-10pm. If I can get 12 HC, the I will pay upfront to reserve 2 lanes ($249), we can get up to 6 lanes reserved. If the hard commits are less then we can just wing it.

The points for the el Mas Macho will follow those of pervious events like the Fishing Tournament with one bonus. Flo (@jmhammettins ) is doing a great job of raising money to feed families for Thanksgiving. For any PAX that donates $25 to his cause and shows up for the evening will get a 10 point bonus. Below is a recap of how the points will work for the evening. The places will be determined base on the best scores of 2 rounds of bowling. Highest scores 1-3 take home the points.

Do you have what it takes?
If you want the title of el Mas Macho and the coveted belt, all you have to do is accumulate the most points across a series of manly events that will take place from August to November 2018 – deatils of each event will be provided to the PAX prior to each month. Points will be awarded to each PAX for participation in the event, with bonus points awarded to the PAX that finish first, second or third in each event. The point system is simple:
- Participate in an event = 15 points – it’s like signing your name on the SAT…. you get points for just showing up!!
- 1st Place in an event = 10 bonus points – it pays to be a winner!
- 2nd Place in an event = 5 bonus points – if you are not first you are last!
- 3rd Place in an event = 3 bonus points – got to get something for the effort!
The PAX with the most accumulated points across all events will be declared el Mas Macho and will receive the coveted Quien es el Mas Macho Belt and the adulation of all F3 Lake Norman PAX. Additional event details will be provided as we get closer to the target months.
