F3/Joe Martin ALS Partnership

* 2.0's also in attendance were Lincoln Harris, Kate Bell and Charlie Boone

14 of the finest representatives (and when I say finest I am referring to the 2.0s) of F3 Lake Norman came out to reach out to Steve Hix (C3PO) and his wife Deb to take care of a few housheold taks. We accomplished the following:

Yard mowed, trimmed and blowed with a plan for care every week going forward (thanks to Jethro and his family)

75 square foot area of grass turned over by shovel with 30 bags of top soild spread to create a flower bed

Motion detector lights installed

Flourescent light fixture installed

Multiple azaleas and shrubs planted

Driveway grates removed, leaces cleared and grates replaced with anchors

Moleskin:

1) Success! No police or fire alarms triggered, only 1 tripped breaker!

2) Goat Island is a very small, but idyllic spot, landlocked in Huntersville.  Who knew?

3) That was an awful lotta digging

4) Guess which pax had a worm farm growing up? And a race team?

5) Special thanks to Funky Town who came out only a few months after losing his father to ALS. Inspired by your strength and courage Brother.

6) Put it on the calendar – April 29, Super Steve ALS Walk in Birkdale.

7) Jimmy Olsen – 6 of your favorite donuts were at the workout, every last one of them was devoured by a 2.0. Your loss!

My personal thanks to all who came out!

Aye,

Outlaw
