5 Pax played a game of Scrabble today in honor of National Scrabble Week at #ArniesArmy. Here’s what went down:

The Thang
F3 Scrabble:
A bag of letters were placed at the end of the parking lot from base. On go, the Pax completed 3 exercises IC (10 ‘Mericans, 10 squats, and 10 LBC’s in cadence for the first half and 10 WWIIs, 10 Pickle Pounders, and 10 squats for the second half).
After each three set the Pax then sprinted to grab one letter each, and ran back to plank for 30 seconds while studying letters as a group. If a three letter word isn’t formed within 30 seconds, all run again but only one Pax can only draw one additional letter (not one for each like the initial round). The exercise resumes again until a 10 letter word is formed collectively by the Pax.
After several rounds, YHC had mercy on the Pax and allowed all to grab a letter after each sprint. Any remaining letters not used resulted in a burpee penalty for each letter for the entire Pax.
Recover, Recover
Moleskin:
9 rounds of Scrabble pain were administered yielding 540 reps, plenty of mosey, and a 3 burpee penalty issued. We didn’t achieve a 10 letter word, hence our continuous loop. However, the mumble-chatter was good to hear after YHC was DR for a week before on vacay.
It should be noted that there were other notable observances today besides National Scrabble Week including:
-Global Hug Your Kid Day (aye!)
-National Get Out of the Doghouse Day (all Pax should take advantage of this one)
-National Peach Ice Cream Day (yum)
-National Tattoo Day (The F3 Isotope logo is a great option to consider)
-National Rabbit Week (Umm…?)
