A new route was run out of the Fartlek AO this morning. We ventured over to the Stone Hollow and Cobblestone neighborhoods. Total distance was just about 6 1/2 miles.
As we departed on our run we came across Risky Business who was on his way over to a Gladiator workout. We happily escorted him to his AO. We made our way then to Stone Hollow and ran around the outer perimeter of the neighborhood and then proceeded down Ranson Rd towards the Cobblestone neighborhood.
While in Cobblestone I heard rumor there was a Honey Bee sighting but I could neither confirm nor deny it. As we were finishing up our run through Cobblestone we finally ran into Jorel who had arrived late for the start but eventually found us. He must have some blood hound in him. Pretty impressive.
For future reference there is a Strava segment the boys from Fartlek will hope to claim one day on the way out of Cobblestone known as Burns Hill. While none of us attempted to capture it on this venture it has been scouted and will be up for grabs the next time we head down this way.
All in all a pretty good 6 miler with some change of scenery and good conversation.
