Field of Screams


A tough Panthers loss deserved a tough workout to take our minds off the game.  Mumble chatter was likely to head in the Super Bowl direction, regarless of other pleasantries.  Hence, diverting the oxygen from the cake hole to other large muscle groups was a clear intent.  

WARMORAMA:

Cones were setup to mark a nice 40 yard stretch of grass for us, and later 1 cone was repurposed to signal an ankle swallowing hole. 

High Knee – down and back

Pumpkings:

Pax split up into two staggered rows of 4, 10 yards apart.

Iron Pumpkin pushed across to next pax and zigzagged to end of line and back while waiting pax planked.

Repeat zigzag down and back, but shouldering the behemoth.Waiting pax in Al Gore.

MOLE(who dug the hole I almost slipped in)SKINE:  

1. At 5:25, it was Ramrod and I, staring at the field.  Despite the Super Bowl last night, I was a touch worried about this fledgling AO that I want to see thrive.  You all have no idea the lift it gave me when the headlights started streaming in.   

2. Yes, the format is a little different.  It's meant to be a nasty workout with some heavy/awkward toys mixed in.  Good for ruck training, sure, but all can benifit from the strength work as well as the hidden core benefit you get from the weight shifting around.  I hope everyone enjoyed and continues to visit.

3. It should be no surprise to anyone who knows them that Bagboy and Creeper led the pack and won the blackjack pot (prize=extra downups).  What is special about this is that they were the elder statesmen in attendace.  I want to be like you guys when I grow up!
