#thestandard was run by Big Mean, Pierogi, Dewey, Cheeze Whiz and Brushless. Chief, Loveshack, Six Shooter, and Contra ran during bells, and Brushless rucked as well. There were 12 in our Pax, and a damn fine 12 if I say so my damn self! Tote Bag is not yet on the WS, and Cannonball was named today!
Warm Ups: (IC) SSH 20, IST 15, CDD'S 10, MC'S 15, Merkins 10, SDS 20
The Thang: Pyramids-20, 15, 10 of KB swings, skull crushers, curls, mil presses, upright rows, then 20 only of pullovers. For 'breaks', figure 8 runs (alternating to the fountain and grassy endcap of our AO) to an 'end' were done with an exercise there, including squats, inclines, scorpions, dips, heal slappers, one leg squats. Running was meant to be fast, breaks were given during the pyramid reps.
Mary: Bell assisted LBC's and KB presses/low flutter, 15 each in cadence.
Moleskine:
-Brandon, now Cannonball, comes to us, EH'd by Cupcake, who found his credit card on the golf course, and gave it to him the next day when Cannonball was LOOKING for the card he lost, as Cupcake was doing another ruck! Funny story. So……found the CC on the golf course, back and forth with Cupcake, Caddyshack is a golf movie, during the Chevy Chase/Bill Murray scene, the 'back and forth' was called Cannonball, and there you have it! Welcome Cannonball.
-Tote Bag was JUST NAMED yesterday, so he showed up and did very well.
-Lear, back from his world travels, had a chance to regale us with his story of seeing Adre Rieu in Vienna–amazing.
-The runners ran, and Brushless rucked during our KB workout, but either way, pain was felt.
-Mary was shortchanged on account of needing to get in our 'back' reps, YHC apologized.
-Motorboat was so excited about repping for the skull crushers, that he got to count a few…lucky him!
-Thanks for the keys Cupcake, she's running silky smooth.
