9 Pax were present and accounted for at #TheWilderness this morning to celebrate National Love Your Thighs Day. Yes, you can’t make this stuff up. It’s a real thing. YHC cares too much about each Pax and his thighs to not at least capitalize on this National Observance. Here’s a summary of what occurred:

Wow, 1,250 reps of pure pain. Peart Plus, Ultraman, Jorel, and Amen all got in some pre-bootcamp mosey action. YHC is very proud of all of the Pax present today. You showed that you care about each others thighs as we celebrated “National Love Your Thighs Day”. There were no ‘Mericans, no Burpees, no LBC’s, and even no mobility moment(s) this morning. Just our rain soaked clothes and some good ol’ fashioned, finger lickin’ good, thighs (wait, that meme sounded better in my head). On the dawn of this important National Observance, we stopped to remember all of the thighs we have neglected as we tend to focus more on the brawny parts of our body (i.e. those manly exercises that some brag about in backblasts). In fact, the thigh has some of the largest muscles in the human body. The medial thigh muscles are essential for normal gait and lower extremity functioning. They mainly allow for adduction of the leg. Weak adductor muscles can create knee instability and increase the risk of an adductor strain (runners take note). Aye!
