AO

Peart starting the year off strong with a solo-standard this morning breaking in his new weighted vest he got for Christmas. I’m calling it now – everyone get ready because 2023 is going to be the Summer of Peart!

Revisited my first Fallout Q this morning and it still held up. 5 other Pax joined me by 0530 and we hit the track for the first of 4 laps.

Disclaimer was read aloud and consented to by all in writing.

Warmarama:

  • Warm up lap around the track – lap 1
  • SSH x20 IC
  • IST x10 IC
  • Toy soldier x10 IC
  • Merkins x10 IC

Thang:

  • Lap around the track Native American style – lap 2
  • Hill ladder, 10-1 hand release merkins at the bottom and jump squats at the top
  • Lap around the track Native American style – lap 3
  • Mosey to the shelter for some partner wheelbarrows up the incline, 3 burpees at the top
  • Mosey to Bradley for some Rocky Balboa’s x20 and 20 dips OYO on the benches – repeato x25 for the 2nd round
  • Mosey back to the track for a final lap Native American style – lap 4 – but first, a quick stop at the shelter for a round of bear crawls up, 5 burpees OYO, and bear crawls back down

Mary:

  • We only had time today for low flutters x20 IC and LBC’s x15 IC. RECOVER RECOVER.

Moleskin:

  • Q fail – completely forgot to quiz the group about the Huntersville town board meeting tonight, heads up for the Pax who show up for Mighty Oak tomorrow morning!
  • Great group to start the year off with – little to no mumblechatters makes a Q feel special, everyone just quietly went about crushing the workout.
  • Thanks to Peart for taking us out in prayer
  • Until next time.
