AO

Preamble

As the Q, I PB'd a Standard and a Boot Camp for Fission.  I was there bright and early at 0445 to scope the AO and stretch a bit before the 0500 Standard.  At about 0455 it became apparent I should have visited the bathroom before the leaving the house.  This was not something I could take care of on the schoolgrounds since I did not have the proper tools to clean up after. By 0458 it was a dire situation and an emergency Bio-Break evacuation needed to be executed!  However given the Q obligation I paced the parking lot until my watch showed 0500:00 and fortunatley no PAX arrived for an early run.  I jumped in the car and drove much like 9-Lives drives the fire truck to a 24 hour gas station.  I will not divulge the exact location of said establishment to protect myself and others!  Darting through the store and having to side step an older lady perusing the breakfast pastries I had barely a second to spare to get to the bathroom, praying the whole way it was vacant.  Alas, success and relief!  However, upon flushing I instantly knew the plumbing was inadequate for the job!  As the water rose, new prayers were answered when the water leveled out a few inches below the rim!  Grabbing the lightweight plunger from the corner I went to work.  After a few moments of plunging and sloshing there was no progress.  A tool with compressed air or maybe hydrolics was in order and I had neither.  This was going to have to be a job for the professional behind the counter of this fine establishment.  To ease the guilt of what was to come for the poor lad I decided I must make a purchase.  I grabbed a Gatorade waited in line and paid for my purchase.  As I took a step towards the door and as nonchantaly as I could muster, I turned to the young man and said "By the way, I think the toilet might be clogged in the men's room".  I casually returned to the school parking lot feeling much better and ready to Q

  • Great work by these men today. Sometimes it is harder in a small crowd but we all put in the effort today
  • We had blood and sweat but no tears today – On the second Balls to the Wall I cracked my knee coming down and bled pretty good the rest of workout
  • Hat Trick – going strong for 6 years in F3!  I hope you tip your private driver well!  Enjoy Miami!
  • Dr Seuss – 2 years and certainly a pro and crushing workouts!  But you need to find a better place than Milwaukee to drive your Harley!
  • Gooey – only 8 workouts to date!  Feels like you have been around longer!  You are getting stronger every time I see you!  Good luck with the house hunt!
  • Thanks to Cousin Eddie for the opportunity and for leading Mad Sci this week!
