5 madlads looked at the snooze button and condescendingly scoffed as they made their way out into the gloom for a special Saturday edition of FKT. Here is their story.
The Thang
Everybody was on time-ish as we launched straight into some pain.
Half pipe
Run the half pipe by the train tracks a total of 6X. Do 10 burpees every time you reach the low point.
Baileys Glenn Merkin Ladder
Run a mile-ish to the bottom of Bailey Glenn. Make your way back up doing merkins at every street light. 30X, 25X, 20X, 15X, 10X, 5X
Bailey Springs Suicides
Head to the bottom of Bailey Springs. 10X Bonnie Blairs then up to the speed bump and back down, 15X Bonnie Blairs then up to Potts Plantation and back down, 20X Bonnie Blairs then up to top.
Run back home
Totals: 4 hilly miles, 60 burpees, 105 Merkins, 45 Bonnie Blairs
Moleskin
This was my one morning home in a stretch of about 10 mornings out of town. My flight schedule would’ve made posting to one of our great 0700 Saturday options real tough. And the RBP ruck was tempting, but I felt the need for running and pain. So I needed this, not only from an accountability standpoint but also from a mental standpoint. Thank you so much for the PAX who were able to come out on short notice.
Enron had no hesitation and neither did his furry PAX Henry.
Swampfox courteously got Covid a little while back so that I could actually keep up with him.
Slingshot posted despite a belly filled to the brim with cupcakes.
Possum answered the pb callout even though this was his preplanned fartsack day. Appreciate you brother.
Strong work by all!
