YHC took the Q because someone had to “lead” and decided that we’d try to keep everyone together a little bit – regardless of whether they were rucking or running.
WARM-O-RAMA:
Ruckers march on out for a head start
20 IC Side Straddle Hops
10 IC Cotton Pickers
10 IC Imperial Storm Troopers
10 IC Windmills
The THANG:
Follow the Ruckers
Two Ruckers head out down Clubber Lane
The rest mosey after them after they get a head start.
- Head down Catawba Springs Rd all the way the end of Bubbling Well.
- Runners stop at the end for 10 WWI Sit-ups
- Mosey back back up Bubbling Well until the first side street on the right (Brookridge)
- Runners do 10 WWI Sit-ups and then sprint (90%) to the top/ walk back/repeato
- Mosey to the next side street (Springwood) 10 WWI sit-ups then run hard to the top (this one is a little longer so back it down a bit)/walk back/ repeato
- Mosey to the next side street (Valleybrook) 10 WWI sit-ups and the sprint to the top / walk back / repeato
- Follow the ruckers across to South Little Egypt
- Mosey to the Trilogy entrance for 10 WWI sit-ups and the run through the gate and loop back to the entrance / repeato / say “hello” to the beefcake glistening through his run on the way out (good to see you Einhorn)
- Mosey down South Little Egypt til we meet the Ruckers coming back up (or the entrance on Oxford Hunt if you’re a real runner) and turn around.
- Mosey / walk back up and finish out moseying back to the launch pad.
6 MOM:
sprinkled in throughout the run
REFLECTION:
Acts 20:35
“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
MOLESKIN:
- This was a sweaty but fun run that YHC and a couple of others really needed and said so.
- FNG-1 is Grant/Pikachu/TBD. Great to have him back out.
- FNG-2 Handsome Rob makes it two weeks in a row. That’s a pattern we hope to see continue.
- Marker is getting his legs and breath back. Nice work!
- Dirt finishes his longest run in quite a while and seemed to enjoy it the whole way.
- Dr. Dolittle knocked out a bunch of miles this morning. Our part was just some child’s play to finish up.
- C# led the way for the ruckers (and the runners)
- Mater doesn’t like to rest. But he did seem lighter on his feet after taking a load off before the workout.
- Coffeeteria was a blast as usual. Missed those of you that couldn’t/wouldn’t join us.
- As always, it is an honor to be allowed to “lead” and a privilege just to be part of this thing we call F3.
Note to Mrs. Dirt: Dirt is excused from any and all yard work for the next 24 hours. Thank you.
