El Sabor #12 Uptown opened up 1/14. Figuring that F3 brotherhood had to christen the new establishment on their first $1 Taco Tuesday LittleFinger reached out to Turncoat to get his take. Assuming it was going to be a Royal Rumble Turncoat was hesitant but left it up to the Pax. Jaws quickly responded "Fortune Favors the Bold" and thus Taco Tuesday Uptown addition was on.
The Thang
El Sabor was actually packed but surprisingly to our good fortune the line went quickly.
2 tables of 4 pax each. PAX ordered
El Cheapo $1 Authentica tacos – corn tortilla, ground beef and shredded chicken.
El Hombre $1 +1 upcharge Authentica tacos – corn tortilla, steak, carnitas,etc.
El Gringo $1 – flour tortilla, ground beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese.
El Jefe – $2 steak tacos, $3.75 fish tacos #pourmansurfandturf #ballin
El Grande – Super Nachos which could have feed a family of 4.
The Flavor was great. Salsa bar a plus. Sure to be added to the regular rotation.

Between 8 Pax, we collectively ate an estimated 20-24 tacos and a few orders of nachos in 45 minutes which was approximately the equivalent of what Jolly threw down in what 7 ½ minutes? Seriously has anyone drug tested that man yet? Additional Mucho Mas points for each back blast his performance is mentioned.Seriously. . . as was previously mentioned. . . we may have all just witnessed the equivalent of Jordan in his prime.

Speaking of El Sabor Taco eating contest.The look on RamRod’s face while trying to finish his last Ground Beef, Onion and Cilantro on Corn Tortilla Taco. Riddled with PTSD, he looked as if he had returned to the scene of the crime. Seriously man. . . .say no to the raw onion.

Twister’s face enduring the Whole 30 thing. Having only eaten the taco filling, was forced to throw the tortillas out. Looked like a kid on Christmas who just found out Santa’s not real. Hold strong brother.

How awesome The Bear race is. 1600 Feet of climb in 4.6 Miles running up Grandfather Mountain. We watched videos of last year’s event. We all sort of threw up in our mouths. In case you haven’t heard, sign up opens Feb 5th at 7am for the July 10th event. Should be a blast. CSAUP if you ask me.

Turnpike is up for posting 300 times, Saturday triple downs, queuing 50 times, Peak to Creek Marathon. . . . etc. etc. Or something like that. The Man is a machine in 15” shorts and triple layers. The only man wearing Hoodies, making Hoodie jealous.

Oh and LittleFinger may have mentioned that he is signing up for first ultra.The Fonta Flora 50k in Nebo, NC. Still not sure if he likes this running thing yet but putting it out there to stay committed.
