FNG-1 and FNG-2 are Stars and Stripes, Code Blue's freak-of-nature twin 2.0 speed demons.
The pain buffet for today included nothing but miles at Titan. Classic five-mile route. Tantrum came up with it long before my time. Speaking of which, I didn't realize unti halfway into the run while chatting with Tugboat that this was my four year anniversary (not five, Twitter error on my part)! The Titan Five Miler was my first post four years ago, verification thanks to whatever kind soul archived these old backblasts!
It's a good route, always reminds me of the struggle bus from my first few months doing F3. I mean that in a good way. Every once in a while I get back on the struggle bus, but always seem to find a few men willing to help lift me out of it. I'll have bad weeks where I struggle to get Q's signed up, or just don't feel good about how often I'm posting, or how well I can run, or just generally don't feel great about something else in life. But it's always temporary. I find my way to the other side with a little help and good companionship from the men of F3 LKN. And we keep coming back to this five mile route, which is probably boring the piss out of some of you by now. But it's always a fun trip down memory lane for me, so excuse my selfishness, but the route is here to stay.
As for today, awesome to have a few new faces, and some really good old ones. I couldn't ask for a better way to spend a Monday morning – thanks for the run gentlemen. Thanks for ALL the good runs.
