8 Men appeared at Cobalt for a post Independence Day workout.  Free at Last!

 

FNG-1  = Slow Roll

FNG-2 = Too Tall

 

Warmorama:  

High Knees, Butt Kicks, Karyoke, Quadraphilia, SSH x 25 IC, IST x 15 IC, TS x 15 IC, WM x 15 IC, CP x 15 IC, Merkins x 10 IC

The Thang:   Line of Pain

Eight stations were set up at the base of the parking lot.   Pax did 12 reps at each of the following stations

  1.  Curls
  2.  Incline handled merkins
  3.  Kettlebell swing
  4.  Lateral raises
  5.  Skull Crushers
  6.  Ab Roller
  7.  Weighted Squats
  8.  Merkins

After completing the above 1 round,  pax jogged to other end of parking lot for some ab work and burpees

5 Burpees OYO,  Crunchy Frogs x 15 IC, Box Cutters x 15 IC, Dying Cock Roach x 15 IC

Pax jogged back to the Line of Pain and did another round of 12 reps at each station.

After completing second round, Pax ran 1/2 mile.

Mary:

Moleskin:

  • Welcome FNG-2 Too Tall from Raleigh, long friend of El Tigre's.  Too Tall posts a strong workout today!
  • FNG-1 is Slow Roll.  Slow Roll has already posted 3 times this week and ran on the day he didn't post.  He's moving into the Manimal category!
  • Started out nice morning for workout per Jolly Roger….
  • Q gapped out, Bagboy had signed up to Q and El Tigre totally forgot, sorry Bagboy!
  • Ab roller always a crowd pleaser!  Everyone loved the demonstration!  Jolly Roger I believe found a weakness…
  • Bagboy about caused some of the pax including Q to pull a fat muscle with the extra long low flutter.  
  • Pax found out some privy info this am.  Evidently channel 9 and The Observer will be posting the story this week.  Jolly Roger is stepping down, and Bagboy is taking charge.  Congrats Bagboy!
