The Thang

The Murph

Run to the Quarry Hood park. The runner crew covered 4 miles coming from Overlook, and the Courtesy Car crew showed up with exactly 0.0 miles logged.

This was followed by 10 sets of

  • 10 pull-ups

  • 20 mercans

  • 30 squats

Then you could either 1) run back the way you came or 2) drive home in the courtesy car

Moleskine

  • It was definitely too cold for cinder blocks. Smart audible, but that was one frozen pole

  • Little Baby Squats (LBS). Form matters

  • Attendance stat padding comes with a price in the form of Plantar Fasciitis. Thoughts and prayers

  • Swim regionals are coming up. Preparations and coaching lineup strategizing sound pretty intense

  • Apparently one needs to be careful mentioning anything with an elastic strap in the midst of an earlier reference regarding a wide stance in certain company as this combination can cause the conversation to devolve rather quickly. (Note: You may need to read that again, but slower this time).

  • Not all Dry January’s are created equal based on just how degenerate your friend circle may or may not be.

  • Muff diving is not a letterman sport. No Muff Too Tuff. We Dive at Five.

  • Courtesy car played “Gonna Fly Now” (Theme from “Rocky”) as it acted as the pace car escorting the gazelles on their way out. ‘Twas a nice touch

  • Great work fellas
