YHC ventured to The General AO for the first time in ages.  Thank you to the other 9 pax that endured the following 45 minutes with me:

The General Thang:

  1. Dora.  Partner up.  One partner does an exercise, second partners mosies/sprints/walks to the lightpole and back, flapjack and keep exercising until limits achieved.  300 LBCs, 200 Squats, 100 Merkins
  2. Trifecta of exercises, twice 
    • People’s Chair 30 secs, then add Overhead Press x 10 ic, then Touch Them Heels x 10 ic
    • Incline Merkin x 10 ic
    • Dips 1o ic
    • REPEATO the set
  3. Mosey to the road for Rockwork
    • Curls x 10 ic
    • Overhead press x 10 ic
    • Skulcrusher x 10 ic
    • Squats x 10 ic
    • 8 count Burner x 10 ic
    • REPEATO the set

General Mary madness:

  • LBC x 20 ic
  • Homer to Marg to Homer to Marg to Homer
  • Low Flutter x 10 ic
  • 1 minute of WW2’s

Recover Recover and then COT happened

General moleskin malaise:

  • Prayers to our brother Crab Legs and his wife Jen in their critical time of need.  God be God, do what you do.  And help us to be what they need.
  • We got two runner flyby’s.  One was #4Banger and I assume the other was #Odyssey.
  • I may have had a brief carnal relationship with BoarHog’s dog during Mary.  
  • BoarHog mentioned College Baseball starts today.  Get out and see a Davidson and/or UNCC game.  Fun times and good opportunity to see talented player playing for the love of the game.
  • #TandP to Elmers who got tripped up from out of nowhere by a di-hybrid-monkey-rabbit and turned an ankle.  T-claps to MQ’s for ensuring he was okay and in to his car to get home and ice it and rest up.
  • Today is a good day!  Thank you Deep Dish and Holiday for the opportunity and for running an amazing AO.
  • What I learned today:  Mr Holland issued a challenge to Q all non-running AOs in Isotope.  I am glad he did.  I realized I had neglected The General for years.  I see most of the Pax on occasion at other AOs but not here.  Here is different.  I needed here.  I needed them.  It is a group that comes to get work done.  Complaints were nonexistent while brotherhood was max’d out.  So be the Pax of The General.  Make it simple, make it good, make each other better.

    Confirmed. It was a Goatbuster contingent from Odyssey led by Poptart that passed by rather quickly. Although you wouldn’t know that due to the lack of a proper BB. Strong work brother…looked like a strong offering of pain.

      Aye. Well some of y’all passed rather quickly. A few of you (present company excluded) could use some more sprints and burpees.

    Strong work Stray and good coffeteria after. We had told the boys to be on their best behavior for company. What you viewed as lack of complaining and mumblechatter was likely a collective holding of tongues. Don’t be a stranger. You’re always welcome at the General. We’ll even make fun of you next time.
