Getting It Done Before The Rain

Event Date

AO

What happens when you wake up in the morning and you don't feel like getting out of bed to workout?

9:00 p.m. the night before your weather app told you it is going to rain in the morning. You could make up an excuse about your alarm clock or you can throw out the "late night" excuse. Who's going to know? It's you against you, right?

No that's not what you do. You overcome the BS floating around in your head and get out of bed because the PAX you spoke to the day before are counting on you to show up and hold them accountable.

You see, that's how this works.

It's not about how strong you are by yourself but how powerful we are together.

It's not about you, it's about the man to your left and to your right. The man who counts on you as much as you count on him. And even though no one knows exactly what someone else is going through, we are experiencing this thing we call life together. It takes me, it takes you, it takes all of us with shields locked to fight the everyday humdrum.

Showing up day in and day out is the sign of a true man. The daily opportunity to have a shared experience while embracing the ebs and flows of the everyday.Seeing the AWESOME in it all, good and bad, because it's the human experience.

Thank you gentlemen for fighting the call to hit the snooze button and making it out in the gloom to embrace the suck we call F3. You inspire me and I thank God for each of you.

Amen, great job getting out early and hitting the standard. Thank you for telling us about your friend David; he is in our thoughts and prayers.

Crocs, I appreciate you stepping in the accountability role for me. I see what you are doing for your Shield Lock and other PAX. I'm proud of you brother.

Rodeo, I'm proud of you too. Day in and day out, you have embraced the gloom. It's awesome to see that you have made exercise a daily commitment, which inspires me to keep going.

Brothers keep doing what you do. When in doubt keep it 6 feet out. #SocialDistancing
