Good Thing There Were No Fires

Half our ruckers were firefighters. Thankfully, the only hot spots they had to deal with this morning were the ones on their feet. At coffeeteria after, talk turned to another group of firemen who left their truck running while they went in to the nearby HT. I’m not saying there was talk of taking the engine for a joy ride and leaving it behind the store to teach them a lesson, but I’m not not saying it either. Either way, it was awesome to see 9-Lives for the first time in a long while and I have a #kotter to thank for it. Thanks Huckleberry for being my huckleberry this morning. Even if you did encourage your peers to break off from the course at the very end and finish .13 miles shy of the full 8-mile route. Hope to see you all on the next trek. Speaking of which — how far and which way shall we go next??
