Hell Week Khan Job

17 PAX (above plus Heister, Tewksbury and one other) joined YHC for the Day 1 of the Duvall Promotion "F3 Hell Week."  Despite continued references to YHC's fraternity Hell Week, no excessive alcohol or traumatized virginal goats were actually involved in the making of this workout.

The Thang

– 5 burpees followed by 5 burpees followed by run to Chambers for more traditional warmup.  YHC was criticized for lack of originality……bacon and eggs, baby.

– Jog to track, Stairway to 7.  Again, not original but still brutal ("…there's a feeling I get, when I look to the west and my spirit is crying for leaving.").  Jog 1 lap around track and wind down to front of Baker.

– Circle up for Merkins.  More criticism for lack of originality which was met with 10X regular, wide and diamond merkins consecutively without dropping out of plank position.

– Grab some wall and ignore puzzled looks of Davidson athletes who witnessed 50 somethings more dedicated than they are.  10 box jumps of varying chosen heights.

– Jog behind Baker for premature Mary- LBC, Heels to Heaven, Mason Twist.

– Jog to pull up bars- lot of people, not a lot of space.  We all did some combination of two sets of pullups focusing on form, dips and squats.

– Run back reversing the order- more Mary, more merkins (5X for mercy), more box jumps.

– Walk across the street in front of Baker, work on upright posture as well as appropriate coordinated arm swings.

– Jog back to Green for quick J Lo (because I love her).  Recover, recover.

Moleskin

– Great job by all.  Snapped YHC out of a weekend-long bad mood driven by teen angst, so thank you for that.  Nothing like reminiscing about 3 college days with a live goat to put a smile on your face!  Have a great week.
