Highlands comes to Mighty Oak


8 plus 1 FNG welcomed 1 transplanted Highlands PAX member for a little taste of an old Speed workout. 

It went something like this:

  • Moving warmup with 5 stops
  • Main Event with speed drills, various exercises, blocks, and a few cool down laps in between
  • Moving Mary with less than 5 stops
  • COT with a solid TENer count and a prayer (for Tom)

A few additional notes:

  • Check out the 9/11 workout
  • And the Adventure Race
  • It took 3 rounds for the PAX to figure out the pattern of the Main Event (about 3 more than the Highlands PAX)
  • Each region is unique and uses different methods and terms
  • Mighty Oak is a great AO and this Q should attend more often
