Hollow Threats

Top Gun failed my test as I waited a full 24 hours to post this back blast, he threatened to post it, but no – so here it goes.

The Warmup:

Lap around parking lot

SSH X 20

Windmill X 10

Cotton Picker X 10

Toy Soldiers X 10

The Thang:

A card game in the rain – rotated around the circle as each pax drew a card from the deck and called out exercise reps per card with bells per below:

Hearts – Full Curls

Spades – Presses

Diamonds – Squats

Clubs – Lawn Mowers (face cards = 5 for each arm, numbered cards = the card number for each side (and yes a 10 of clubs was drawn)

Ace – Wildcard, open choice of exercise – good idea until Toxic drew a Ace and called Del Webbs resulting in 60 presses

Kings – Run around the school – we drew 3 kings which resulted in a least a mile and quarter.

Mary:

WWII Sit Ups with bell x 10

Low Flutter x 10

LBCs with one leg straight out, 10 each leg – considerably more painful than standard LBCs

The W x 10

Forgetting a few as we nearly all called a Mary exercise

Moleskin:

1)  Morning chatter started where we left off the prior morning with updates and comments about Storm Chaser's family situation (M is close to giving birth) – specific comments are not fit for print

2)  Nordberg and Crimson got honor mention calls out for not being seen at The Cauldron in awhile (honor mention may not be the exact terms)

3)  Titan (aka Knock Out) joined at the last minute as the pax cheered

4)  YHC got a call out for multiple Qs this week – Farlek, co-Q Wilderness with Ultraman, and now the Cauldron.  Call out was actually in regards to YHC's ability to Q, but not really Q with pax having the "opportunity" to count theme

5)  Fair amount of mumble chatter esp. as we dodged the rain and relocated to back of the school under cover

6)  Wrapped up with Mary on dry payment under the cover

7)  2nd F – enjoyed the post workout coffee for those that could join

8)  Thank You Ultraman for the opportunity to Q, an honor and a pleasure as always to lead this fine group
