Hollwood Q Switcheroo

*Popcorn in attendance, not registerd on site*

5 PAX for the Standard that launched 0500 & 0506

Sporano grabbed the Q late Tuesday night, but graciously gifted me the opportunity to Q this morning. YHC took the gift as a birthday Q (now I don't have to post Friday) and to surprise a few unsuspecting PAX… okay, just Jolly Roger.

Warm-o-rama

THE Burpee followed by 51 – SSH IC (you're welcome Sporano) and then a host of other standard assortment of warm-up exercises.

The Thang

Mosey via the long route to the bottom of Which Which hill. Upper body and ab exercises at the top and bottom. In between bear crawl up the hill, sprint back down. Then lunge walk up, sprint back down. Finally, sprint back up.

Mosey past theater to the rock pile located at the center of Nope Rope field. Grab your favorite solid mineral and Zamperini back up to tennis court lot. With rocks locked and loaded, PAX completed curls, shoulder press, bent over rows, skull crushers, WWII sit-ups, and chest press. Original plan was to relocate to a new rock, 2 to the right, in between each exercise, but when Jolly arrived at the largest stone available the movement was ended. The entertainment factor was just too good to pass up.

Rocks back to the pit and mosey back to greenway entry for 10 burpees OYO followed by GG's mobility moment. Although GG was not in attendance, his pigeon was felt… what???

Mary

Final mosey back to launch point for some heavy mumble chatter, a lot of quit, a bit of Mary and more Burpees!

Yes, you read that correctly. Jolly Roger posted to a boot camp for the first time since reliquishing Nantan duties. An early Christmas miracle. Jolly even got BEP out of bed before 9am. Hasn't happened since the start of mask season.

Might as well add Dallas to the surprise boot camp appearance list. Love to see a mediocre runner come out and focus on other parts of fitness. The cross-training bodes well for frozen dairy consumption.

Qbert was killing the mic this morning. Dude had more one-liners than Ralphie May. If you were there, then you know. Bravo, kid!

Qbert's neighborhood compadre, Jenny, was also there. He's back to being a boot camp machine.

Soprano had to be grinning when we went past 50 SSHs, but quickly lost that joy when we stopped at 51. Nobody got time, or proper tendon structure, for 100 f&*#ing SSH IC!!!

Riverboat, fresh off telling me how injured he was on Saturday, came out and crushed it this morning. He's a dark horse baller, and apparently not a good liar.

Mayhem, Tupack, Hot Lips and Tuffy sure were quiet this morning. YHC kept looking over at them, as any good Q caring for the PAX does, and it appeared that they each had lunch pail in hand just ready to do work. Studs!

Duvall nearly made me a rich man while trying to chase down Soprano towards the end of the workout. So close. Next time for sure! (Dollar dollar bills y'all)

Omega was chiping in the background throughout the workout. Sometimes it was in regards to the Q and other times it was a solicitation of another PAX's house listing. Regardless, his sleeves were off and in perfect presentation form for the rock work under the lights.

Continue to be impressed by Little Professor and Deep Dish. Always posting, consistent and strong effort and no chance of scissors touching their hair anytime in the near future.

Popcorn is a great addition to our F3 community. This was his 6th post since his first post 10 days ago. Dude is strong and loving the community. Please reach out and get to know this guy!

The Pig held court, as expected, at coffeeteria. It's what he does. Not sure which is better. The Pig's effort at 2ndF or his knowledge of the NBA. Nick Van Exel ftw!

Greatly appreaciate the opportunity to Q this morning. More importantly, I am thankful for another year on this earth with F3 in my life. PAX will say that F3 is a life changer, and it is. What folks not involved with F3 don't realize is it's not the Fitness portion that makes the biggest impact to our lives. It is the Fellowship and brotherhood/support of the PAX that changes our lives for the better. Thanks for the support!
