The THANG:

Q brought a deck of cards minus 2's, 3's and 4's.  One person draws a card, does the prescribed exercise for face cards or picks a exercise for numbered cards.  Joker = picker picks exercise while everyone else does exercise. A = 11 Squat Thrusts, K = 10 American Swings, Q = 10 Halos each way, J = 10 Lawnmower rows each side. 10 = whatever exercise person who drew wants.

Almost finished the whole deck of cards, and some of the 10 exercises involved running the practice field.  The Joker was overlooked by someone who thought it was a Jack, so no one had the pleasure of punishing the PAX.

At almost 6:10, Q grabs slam ball out of car while everyone else gets a 10 count.  Q challenges everyone to a slam ball throwing contest on practice field.  To throw, feet have to remain on the endzone line.  Clubber wins the challenge by throwing 9 yards and is upset he couldnt get 10 yards.

Message:

Now change your mind and attitude to God and turn to him so he can cleanse away your sins and send you wonderful times of refreshment from the presence of the Lord.
—Acts 3:19 (TLB)

There is a certain amount of sorrow involved in repentance that we don’t see much of today. That word means moaning and even groaning. I don’t mean that we have to have a great emotional experience, but I do believe that we need some tears of repentance. We need to be sorry for our sins, and to say, “Oh, God, I have sinned against You, and I’m sorry.” I am not an emotional person. I don’t know why, but I don’t cry easily. But of the few times I have cried in my life, some of them have been over sin that I committed many years ago.

Moleskin:

  • Horse flies were bad out today, and we helped manage the population somewhat today by taking a few out.
  • C# infoms me that we did 1.16 Miles of running/walking today, which has to be a record for kettlebell Friday.
  • Workout today featured 80's music so next time I Q it might be a country workout.
