HotBox is a sexy man

It was a tough day at FKT today. We had a great crew of tough individuals. Thank goodness for this. The meek of heart would not have been able to make it through.

The day begin with the first of no three standard options. Swingstate showed early and ran like 4 miles. I met him at 5 AM and we got approximately 2.4 miles in. This, of course is followed by an Olivia core class, can’t beat it.

I is I lay on the ground, a murdered out car with loud rap, bumping through the windows, arrived.swing state and I were like who the heck is this. Then a stallion of a man exited the vehicle. His luscious hair seem to sway in the breeze. It was no other than the legend, HotBox.

The games then commenced.

Step one: Run the 2 mile standard loop

Step two: 10 sets of ( 10 Burpee‘s, 20 push-ups, 30 squats)

Step three: run the 2 miles standard loop

Twas, a tough work out, trying to finish what was essentially a Burpee filled Murph with 2 mile runs instead of 1 mile runs.

A few things:

  1. Kozar is super buff and sexy these days. I saw him with his shirt off a few weeks ago and it reminded me of the top gun volleyball scene. Also, he always finishes a work out. Even if he’s going to be a little late, which he wasn’t today, he make sure he finishes it. I love that.
  2. Perrier has been absolutely dominating the workouts lately. He is so much stronger and faster than ever.
  3. Ampm is getting really fast. That last 2 mile loop, as my brain wanted me to quit, he was pushing me to try to keep up with him.
  4. Who knew that HotBox was grinding in the lab and becoming an absolute Hoss? This guy beat me back to the starting line easily. He then proceeded to run extra at the end.
  5. I don’t know what swing state is training for, but I feel bad for the other competitors. I think he did like 4 miles before doing the standard before doing the work out. It’s kind of scary.

I think today’s workout was a good challenge that should be repeated to see how many rounds you can actually get in before the time limit. Half of us finished all 10 and barely made it back in time. Others were close to getting 10 rounds in. The next time we do it, we will have to see if our fitness has improved.
