AO

It all started at 0500 when YHC rolled in on two wheels to find 3 hooligans in dark attire and tobbagans standing unconcerned outside the Hopewell High School gym while the alarm is going off and emergency lights inside flashing.  What would you do in that situation???  Give the guys a fist bump, say what's up, and take off to run TheStandard of course!

Then 0530 came about, we picked up Jingle Bells and we were off again.

Warmorama:

  • run around the lot
  • SSH x15ic
  • Cotton Picker x 7ic….move for car……8-15ic
  • Toy Soldier x 15ic

The Thang:  The Hub and Spoke

  • Run half mile to the roundabout in Tanners Creek
  • Using the roundabaout as the "hub", run to the next road out "spoke" and run it to the end and back then do an ab exercise.  Repeato to the next road, and so on and so on.
  • Ab exercises were:  all x 20ic…….  LBC, Low Flutter, Freddy Mercury, WWII Situp.
  • Run back to the schools bus lot
  • Domino's:  1 min each:  4 corners, Opposite corners, NKOTB

Mary:

  • Did abs during the workout so a short 2 minute Mary was all that was needed.
  • J-Lo x 20ic
  • Homer to Marge to Rosalita x 10ic to Homer to Low Dolly x 10ic to Marge to "W" x 10ic

Moleskin:

  • Spotted no less than 10 shooting stars
  • Good thing we paused to let the tomatoes pass by because they were definitely running at a fast clip
  • Thankfully someone got the emergency lights fixed at the school when we returned to the AO.  I was a bit skeptical that we may have had some issues with the fuzz when we showed back up.
  • Turnpike is a rather soft-spoken guy, but at the same time he hates the uncomfortable silence that comes with running.  Go 10 steps without talking and he'll have to break the silence.  And that's a good thing.
  • My bad for nearly kumquatting TheStandard
  • Forget the discussion about converging with Mt Island Lake.  Their new workout (Cobalt) is a Thursday workout, not Monday.  I was mistaken.
  • Awesome time to be out running this morning.  Thank you Tantrum for allowing me the privilege to lead the men this morning.
