Hummer was late, we laid down in puddles, Nerjubs

Love, exciting and new
Come aboard, we're expecting you
Love, life's sweetest reward
Let it flow, it floats back to you

That's the verse that filled YHC's head when I arrived at the Brickyard and saw Loveshack emerging from his LoveTruck for a bootcamp, and not a long run [maybe it's because no Rent-a-Cop]

Loveshack at a Boot Camp…. Life's sweetest reward – YHC set a course for adventure, his mind on a new romance.

But Loveshack soon will be making another run.  My jubilance short-lived.

Back to reality – the Pax shot out like a stampede for a total of ~50 yards, where the circle quickly formed.

  • SSH X20 IC
  • Hummer arrived
  • Toy Soldier X11 IC
  • Plank
  • Merkins X10 IC
  • Remain in Plank
  • Merkins X10 IC

[Editorial Note – YHC just realized if I have my right hand positioned one key to the left when typing "Merkins," it appears as "Nerjubs."  I'm going to use that some day.]

Mosey 50 yards.  It is here where we began an inspection of each driveway within the Brickyard business park to verify compliance with F3 standards and practices.  Fast mosey in between each, a littany of calesthenics was called, mostly 20 in cadence, mostly core-related.  Here they are, in no particular order:

  • WWII
  • Freddie Mercury
  • Low Flutter
  • LBCs
  • Burpees, Quadraphelia up Jet Hill
  • CDD (posteriors facing the patrons of Jet Fitness to create New Year goodwill)
  • Pillow Talk
  • Preacher Chair
  • Rosalita (in both the union and executive lots)
  • Alphabet (at the firehouse, with a pledge of allegiance)
  • Mason Twist
  • Mountain Climbers
  • London Butt Raise, Toe Touch (still trying out names for this crowd favorite)
  • Squat, Quadraphelia up Stroker Hill
  • Mason Twist
  • Elbow Plank

Nude Mole Skin (gross)

  • Plenty of moisture out there on the Brickyard playing surface.  Uniforms were moistened with some complaint, but by-and-large it was needed and appreciated
  • Thrilling to have BFO back in the gloom – reminds me of my early days in F3.  Get to know him if you don't already
  • Habs is a welcome visitor from the Concord area and a fine gentleman; thanks to Hurdle for bringing him into the F3RC family
  • We did a lot of core because my huge belly
  • Thanks Cheez Whiz for putting the call out for a Q – this was a privilege to help out

Have a Loveboat kind of day
