Hummer was not late today, he just wasn't there. We missed him.
There was no runners or ruckers there was a strange dude that sat in his car for the first half of the workout. Not sure what he was doing in there but it probably wasn't productive.
It was cold today and the wind made it even worse. When I arrived, Master Yoda, aka Cupcake, suggested that we move to the southwest side of Salty Caper to shield us from the biting wind. He's done this before and wise beyond his years so it was an easy decision for this young padawan (post padawan braid, that would be just weird) to acquiese. It helped.

Moleskin
- The KB steel demonstrated it was an excellent thermal conductor and promptly harvested all heat from my hands as fast I could generate it.
- Mechanix gloves are great for merkans but terrible for warmth. I think they actually may have made my hands colder. Next time I'll just wear a pair of argyle dress socks on my hands.
- We took a couple of runs around the Salty Caper to warm up in there. 2 I think between rounds 3 and 6.
- We did 180 merkins and 260 LBC if you were keeping score. Wish we had gone one more round to make it a cool 200 and 300. Cold enough I guess
- SoulGlo wore shorts. That dude is a man's man, just tough. I think he should entertain the idea of a tatoo that says "No Fear" or "Ain't Skeered"
- I should have brought coffee. Next time.
