It was warm, and humid. 7 PAX ran ~6 miles at Fartlek. It went down something like this:
0500: YHC mentioned to Tagless and Ultraman that it would be nice to pass by the Gaga crew and give them high 5s. It was a big day there as Poptart was passing the MQ flag to Hoodie. The streets that Hoodie mentioned sounded familiar (ish) but could've been 8 miles away for all I knew. Tagless and Ultraman knew otherwise, and put us on a nice course. Hence, they get Q credits for today.
0510: The Thing.
We ran. Hugh Torance Pkwy. Hugh McAuley Rd. They all sound the same to YHC. Oh look some fellow F3 guys! Hey are you guys running Gaga? YHC quickly realized, it was Soprano (and Ninja Turtle?), they were likely doing the Standard from Gladiator, and likely had no idea what I was talking about.
Later, probably on "Devonshire", we did see the Gaga crew. It was glorious. There were high 5s indeed. It all worked out, exactly to plan.
Moleskin:
- Trying to get HCs for this event. Please have a read and HC in the comments if interested: https://f3lakenorman.com/announcement/financial-qa-night-for-pax-and-their-ms
- Appreciate Hefty visiting from Denver! Always good to run with you bro.
- Speaking of Denver, prayers up for a speedy recovery from surgery for Marker and his M.
- Thank you Tagless and Ultraman for leading us. I will have a better plan next time.
- Thank you Crab Legs, Jorel, and Risky Business for putting in great work today. Crab Legs was a beast up the last climb.
- Congrats to Hoodie for taking over the MQ at Gaga. PAX, please help out the MQs and sign up to Q somewhere. The PAX will appreciate the variety and the MQs will appreciate the help, especially during the summer months.
